Shahenshah Wali Dargah

Hazarat ShahenshahWali was a Sufi of the 14th century from Chishtiya clan. He came to Beed during the rule of Muhammad Tughluq. His tomb and surrounding areas were built in different periods from 1385 to 1840. The details can be seen in the history of Beed. It is situated on the eastern elevations. Each year an Urs (fair) is held here on 2nd day of Rabi’ Al-Awwal, third month of Islamic calendar.

Mansurshah Wali Dargah

Mansur Shah tomb​​ Mansur Shah was 18th century Sufi of Suharwardy clan of Sufis. He is said to be a Dharma Guru (spiritual teacher) of Mahadji Scindia. Masurshah wali dargah is situated in the Mondha area of Beed City.

Khandeshwari Devi Temple

Khandeshwari Devi Temple is the spirutual center of Beed city located near to the Khandoba-Deepmal. Every year during Dashera “Jatra” (Spiritual Gathering) is organised in the temple area.

Kankaleshwar Mandir

This is a historic temple and you will amazed to see so many new things here once you visit this temple.It is a old age temple and we are blessed to have this architecture master piece in good shape. Temple has man made water bodies surrounding and water source is coming from some unknown underground source which is suppose to be a few miles away. It is Lord Shiva temple and one should visit this site once in life time.

Khandoba Mandir & Deepmal

Situated on the eastern hills, Khandoba Temple is built in Hemadpanthi style and regarded as the symbol of town. Two symmetrical, octagonal deepmal (tower of light) rising 21.33 meters (70 ft.) are standing in front of the temple. Towers have carved figures of humans and animals, now most of them defaced. There are two stories about the construction of this temple. The temple said to be built by Sultanji Nimbalkar a Jagirdar of Nizam era.

Yogeshwari Devi Mandir – Ambajogai

Yogeshvari, also rendered Jogeshvari, is an epithet of the Hindu goddess Durga, a contraction of Yoga-īśvarī, meaning “goddess of yoga”. Shri Yogeshwari is a Bhushan of Ambanagari. The importance of Ambanagari has increased due to this reason, and in ancient times, this city was sitting in other cities like Bushan ghost (Nagar Bhushan Bhav). Because Yogeshwari had Shaktipeeth, she had attained the form of holy pilgrimage and it is still today.

Mukundraj – Ambajogai

Mukundraj maharaj was one of the earliest marathi literary poet. There is a Samadhi (Monument) of Mukundraj Maharaj at Ambajogai, 5 KM away from Yogeshwari Temple. Mukundraj belonged to the Nath sect, and was a follower of the Adi Shankaracharya’s Advaita philosophy. He wrote the religious compositions Vivek Sindhu (IAST: Vivekasindhu) and Paramamrut (IAST: Paramamṛta).

Vaidnyanath Temple – Parli

Shri Vaidyanatha Temple (Marathi श्री वैजनाथ मंदिर ) is a temple to Shiva in Parli Vaijnath in the Beed district of Maharashtra, India.
While performing the rite of Abhishekam male devotees are not allowed to wear clothes above the waist. The temple is approximately 75-80 feet high. The main entrance is a brass-plated door at the east. The temple was renovated in 1706.

Jama Masjid

Built during the period of Mughal emperor Jahangir (1605-27) by his official in Beed, Jan Sipar Khan in 1036 AH (1627), it is one of the largest mosques in Beed. Situated in the centre of the town at Quila (citadel) it has three huge domes and four minarets.Very historic & peaceful place of worship.

Kholeshwar Temple – Ambajogai

This is a temple with historical importance now under archaeological control. It was built by Rani Laxmi in the Rashtrakuta Dynasty. Built in Hemadpanthi style is it unique in itself. Entrance gate, central dome and the mandir dome. It is a lord Shiva temple and is still in use. At the entrance is an inscription on foundation stone which gives the details of who built it and when. It is one of the oldest monuments in Ambajogai.
